Our wedding is quickly approaching [about a month away!] and that means we are taking steps to make our two lives one. Annie will be moving into Mike’s apartment after the wedding so we are moving her things box by box. We are starting to talk to our insurance agents and bankers to combine our policies and accounts. And we are also combining our newsletter. From now on, we hope to keep you updated on our lives and both our ministries at Purdue – Mike with Purdue IV and Annie with Greek IV. We look forward to beginning this new chapter of ministry and support with you!
In many ways we are combining our lives, but in other ways we are still unique. In Romans 1.14-15 Paul says, “I am obligated both to Greeks and non-Greeks, both to the wise and the foolish. That is why I am so eager to preach the gospel also to you who are in Rome.” We take this somewhat literally. While we both work for InterVarsity at Purdue, we work with different chapters. Annie works with the Greeks [fraternity and sorority students] and Mike works with the non-Greeks [everyone else]. And we are certainly both eager to continue preaching the gospel to all on Purdue’s campus. We are excited to lead each of our chapters while supporting each other and partnering together.
