There were also two major shifts for Purdue during CFW. CFW was the time that Annie said goodbye to the Greek chapter and students that she has been a part of for the last 8 years. It was a bittersweet goodbye as she was excited for what is ahead, but sad to leave students. The other shift was the official launch of our International Student Ministry. On Sunday night, we had a sweet comissioning of Phil [staff] and three students who were at CFW.
Perhaps the most encouraging thing to watch was students stepping into deep conversations with their friends and meeting God in the midst. It truly was a picture of what we dream of on campus. Several students made committments to continue this community on campus. One wrote, “I have committed to making sure that we as a community spend more time together.”
